Groceries Shopping with papa to prepare for Chinese New Year.

It was an afternoon and the supermarket was super crowded.

Headed off for another round of groceries shopping with mama to buy drinks at our house nearby.

We bought so many packet of drinks and the trolley couldn't move.

We were eating an ice cream too so we kept stopped halfway on our way back home.

We even bumped into our neighbours. so damn malu!

hahahahaha really laugh die us!

Had reunion dinner at paternal side.

After our dinner, we start to lao yu sheng.

HUAT AH!

After dinner, we headed to River HongBao with my maternal side families.

There were so many childhood games. So memorable !

We actually planned to sit at the platform and watch the fireworks.

Sadly, it started to pour with rain! :(( So we got to leave and headed to the shelter.

The fireworks went off before it hits 12am and we couldn't really see it. :((

Then we went off to Bugis Temple and pray.

Reached home pretty late.

There's two choices for us to choose.

I had Wanton Noodles while Carol had the chicken with rice.

Both tasted not bad but the portion was quite little.

We had Ah Mei's singing Marathon.

Not enough time for us to sing finish all the songs that we had selected. :(

After that we headed to H&M.

My first visit to sg H&M.

Both of us went home with empty handed. hahaa

Finally tried it after hearing so many good comments about it.

Headed to have lunch with yh and yx at Old Airport Road Food Centre.

Din know that it's just next to my uncle's new house.

There's ppl want to buy 21 packets of it and the selller asked and double confirm with them is it 21 packets. hahaha

It was super fast! Sold out at around 3pm but there's second batch at around 6pm.

Fall in love with it once i had the first mouth. :)

Saw another stall, 51 Soya Bean selling this Strawberry Bean curd so decided to try it too.

Hmm it's nice but i still prefer the Lao Ban one.

Quite many people were queuing for this kway Chap.

We only managed to buy the Tau Pok and intestine as the rest was all sold out. :(

( I only had the tau pok as i don't eat the intestine.)

The Oyster Omelette and Char Kway Teow stall was having long queue too but the food was not very nice leh. :x

Overall, i was very satisfied with the meal. :))

It's a Chinese Dim Sum Restaurant.

My first time being there and I can say i LOVE the food.

Great! Will be back again.

I wanna try the 8 Flavours Xiao Long Bao from Paradise Dynasty too. :D

There are XO Carrot Cake, Chee Chong fun (Char Siew/Scallop), Steamed Custard Bun and Honey BBQ Pork Pastry.

Second Year Christmas Exchange with PPGs.

However this was fah and tira first time exchanging with us.

Some of us met up early to prepare present and birthday cum xmas cake. :P

This was our DIY log cake from icing room.

It tasted not bad. :)

After everyone had arrived, we headed to KFC for our dinner.

We had been eating and chatting happily away.

We been staying there till they gonna closed the shop. hahaha

A short meet up with Keni and Ah Ma to have our dinner and some catch up. :)

Keni and I had our dinner first while Ah Ma came and joined us after that.

We headed to 湾仔香港奶茶店/ Wan Chai Hong Kong Tea Room to accompany her to have her dinner while we having our desserts.

I had this black sesame, 芝麻糊! 赞!

Ah Ma got to go to work while Keni and I continued to shop for my christmas exchange gifts with my PPGs. :D

We are gonna celebrate our 10 years Anniversary of Friendships in USS, hopefully. :D

So glad that I have been to Korea, HongKong and Taiwan within these two years.

Never think of travelling to these countries within these two years especially Korea.

Well, been traveled with diff people and way in these three countries.

Korea was with my family and relatives by the tour agency.

HongKong was with friends by free and easy way.

Taiwan was with family and with another group of relatives by free and easy way.

It's good to travel with family cos you don't have to spent any money. :x but then i still do prefer to travel with friends cos i can buy and spend what i want to with no restrictions, thou i have to spend with my own money and do everything by myself.

I don't know why whenever i travel, i will always miss home for the first few days and then after the next few days, i am so don't wanna go back home. hahaha Maybe that applies to everyone of us? :)

If I have the chance, I would like to travel to Japan, Aussie and some other European countries like Paris ! But thinking of the traveling hours, oh it makes me so don't wanna travel to far country. But i am sure it will be a very good experience to travel to those ang moh's countries. ;)

It's the LAST DAY!

We got to check out the hotel at 12pm but we can left our luggage till 2pm.

So we headed out to have our brunch and had the last minute shopping.

We were done with our packing and time to leave the hotel. :(

Took bus A22 to the airport.

It was pretty early for us as our flight was 8.35pm.

So we shopped around the airport.

Managed to spend all my hk money. :)

Macau/Hongkong Day 5

It's Day 5, second last day.
Time to prepare to go out.

Their England room. So much bigger than ours.

Our super cornered USA room.

Had our lunch at 大快活.

Din managed to finish it.

The portion was too big and not really nice to me.

First time took the tram and its really damn cheap!

After our shopping in the day, we headed off to Avenue of Stars 星光大道.

Luckily managed to take some nice pictures of the building with the lights.

There will a whole stretch of business that helps people to take photo.

Hui and I went for it. hahaha the person saw us waiting and discussing for very long and she decided to gave us a free 2R photo each. :D

After that we decided to continue shopping and bought lao po bing back for family.

We dabao back Soya bean curd and 车仔面.

车仔面 is damn damn damn NICE! Feel like eating that now. ;(

Macau/Hongkong Day 4

Seriously it took so long for me to update this hk trip entry as so many things happened this month. :(

Well let's continue with hongkong day 4 trip.

Our destination - Hong Kong Disneyland !

Only Hui and I went there as both Carrot and Wm had already been there last year.

So we went separately, they headed off to some wholesale factories ( Kind of sad that I did not manage to go to the wholesale factories) while we headed off to Disneyland.

The song was being played thru the whole ride.

Then it keep repeating in my head even after we came out from the ride and i keep humming along the way. :p

We took photos with the Minnie, Mickey Mouse and Pooh only as we don't really like the rest of the characters. :p I even bought a photo with the Minnie Mouse and I alone.

We went in the shop and bought alot of cookies.

We bought the ice cream to cool ourselves down due to the hot weather.

It was night time. Time to leave the place.

We did not manage to see the fireworks as we left to meet them at the MTR station at 8pm while the fireworks start at 9pm.

After that, we decided to go shop at Mongkok. Really tired die us.

We tried their street food like fishballs, smelly tofu. The smelly tofu wasn't really that smelly thou. Maybe we tried the not famous one. Then we bought Gong Cha and Maggi Mee back for our late dinner come supper. Only managed to sleep at around 4am.

Macau/Hongkong Day 3

Day 3! Its a shopping day!

Took MTR down to Mong Kok and spent our day over there. :))

Headed to have our breakfast before our shopping spree starts. :D

The cafe layout mostly seen in those hk drama where they're having their breakfast, high tea, etc.

Had the 明星早餐. The hot milk tea is so not nice, too bitter. :((

Our first shopping stop was at H&M! :D :D
Awesome! H&M opens in sg on September! Can't wait!

Then We headed to Argyle Street, 女人街, 花園街 for more shopping.

冷面 - We are able to choose the toppings too.

This is nice though i don't know what it called as.

Had our dinner at 大家乐.

Forgotten the dish name but its a fried fish with rice, veg and sweet corn sauce. *Yummy

Bed was in a mess after a day of shopping.

Macau/Hongkong Day 2

Woke up at around 8.30am and get prepared to headed out for our breakfast @ Venetian.

Took the shuttle bus from our hotel to ferry and then changed to another shuttle bus to Venetian.

Had Fat Burger for breakfast/lunch.

Their burger wasn't really fat but their fries were.

The place where you exactly see from the drama, Boys before flower.

Awesome EGG TART !
Seriously taste so much difference from sg's egg tart.I miss their egg tart.

After strolling around Venetian, we took cab down to Ruins of St. Paul's.The ruins are one of Macau's most famous landmarks.

The weather was scorching hot !
We did not go all the way up, just managed to take a pic of it and off we go. :P

After that, we went to buy the ferry tickets to hk!
The journey was around an hour.
After we reached hk, we were at the hk custom for half an hour or more!
Kinda waste our precious time.

The Octopus card that we used to take the MTR.
Their MRT train is called Mass Transit Railway (MTR).

We were super 狼狈 to drag and carry our luggage all the way from the ferry terminal to our hotel. :(
We alighted at Jordan Station as our hotel is located there.

Our hotel! It's a budget hotel so the room is kinda small.
Their room is based on country names.Hui and I got the USA room while Carol and WanMan got the England room.

Then we went to do some groceries shopping and lastly back to hotel.

Awesome show i would say.
After the show, we went to one corner to have a short catch up with our lives. YES! We gonna have more movie dates coming along. Zookeeper, Rise of the planet of the apes, Horrible Bosses, Johnny English, I Don't Know How She Does It and many more. :)

Macau/Hongkong Day 1

Day 1 at Macau!
It was a very last min and sudden decision to tag along with Carol and Wm to macau/hk. :P It was a free and easy trip. It wasn't an easy task, got to plan and take care alot of things but nevertheless we did enjoy and had fun. ;)

The flight is at 1330 but it only starts to depart at around1415. -.-
Our first stop is at Macau.

We took taxi from airport to our hotel and this stupid taxi driver! He charged us double price from what we see on the meter. He said there were extra charges from airport and have to charge our luggage per piece. :@

Our hotel room. Quite big and nice but there wasn't any wifi for us to use. :(

After checked in hotel and rested for awhile, we headed out to have our dinner at Sands Hotel. Sands Hotel's boss is the same boss as Marina Bay Sands.

Had fried rice at Moonlight Noodle House. The portion was big but the food was so so only. After the meal, we went to take a look at the casino and we played the jackpot. Their jackpot machine all so chim one, we doesn't know how to play. Lucky there was a staff who saw us and taught us how to play. We doesn't win anything though. :P

Then we headed back to our hotel and that ends our day one. :)

Did not have any big celebration though.
Just went out and celebrated with different groups.

Secondly, meet up with the girls except for huiyi. She's been mia for a month, still not back yet!

We had steamboat at the same old place where we always used to have. :)
Was chatting about World Cup and in the end, they came up with a new team named "Curryguay"! As there have Uruguay and Paraguay so another new team forming which is Caliguay(Curryguay). LOL

We caught the Descipable Me in 3D! Love it! Super cute movie though don't really have many effects in 3D. ;)

After the show,we headed to have our late dinner.

Many of the food shops are about to close and lucky one of the shop which is Kim Gary, closes at 11. Lucky us! We had a 1 for 1 meal.

I had a bowl of noodle (I have forgotten the name of the noodle) which tasted like normal maggi mee and not really a recommended dish. *boo

Invited relatives out for dinner!

Meet up with foursome and we dined at Hotpot Culture.

First time there and i find the food so-so only. :x

They bluffed me that they wanna go to toilet and left me alone!

They actually went to buy the cake. hahahaha

After the meal, we went shopping! Can say that this really the first time we took train together and shopped for the longest time. Cos usually, we will just meet up for singing or just a meal at nearby area.

We bumped into Favian on our way back home. haha so coincidence.

Well, know that you girls are busy with your work but must meet up as often as possible.

I'm back to blog.
Recently nothing much happening in my life as almost everyday the same routine.
Been working for past one month. Yesterday was my last day of work!
Pretty fast eh. Can say that I'm happy and sad at the same time.
Sad that I missed some of them and no more moola rolling in my pocket.
Happy that I can take a rest before the next job and also.......
No more hi, welcome, sales, thank you, see you again, bye, sure, no problem. hahaa
Definitely have learnt something new in the store.
Seen many different kinds of people too.
Glad that I have choosen this path thou the beginning wasn't a pleasant one.
A love-hate relationship, i could say. ;)

Gloria came to visit me at work and she passed me my advanced gift! *touched. :D
Thou I may not appear to be very happy and touched but deep inside my heart, I really am! <3
Really thank god that we still contact each other every now and then. hee

Well i believe Nobody is too busy, it's the effort that counts.

Morning shift!
Thursday, always a busy day in the shop.
Dislike to be in the front zone eh!
After work, headed to meet ah ma and dine at Kim Gary. ;)
Went to shop around and I bought this bling bling spec.
Not one but two, a black and blue. hahahaha, can camwhoring around ;p

Have two days of rest before going to work for another straight 7days! :(
Simply can't wait for pay day. Damn sad to see my bank balance.

It's June already! Half the year gone! :(

Graduation Day which held on 20May was awesome.
Just that it was super duper hot and we sweated like hell when wearing formal + the robe.
It feels good to see everyone again but didn't manage to take pic with all of them, esp lecturers! ;(

May is coming to an end.
Many will be leading different lives and goes to separate ways.
The guys will be serving ns, while others will go for uni or work.
As for me, i hope i din make the wrong choice!
I just hope for a simple life.
I miss the old times but we only can look forward and not backwards. That's life!

April isn't my month

Liew, seems that April isn't a smooth month for me.
Somehow loss in direction......
May May is a good month ahead for me.
Anyway was walking to someone's house and along the way, I got bitten by mosquitoes! -Not anywhere but my face and arms. -.-
Scared the hell out of me that I got bitten all over my FACE!
Duh, At first I tot I got chicken pox or smth. hahaha
I don't even dare to look at anyone when I am in the bus.
So quickly went home, took a bath and was okay after awhile. phew~
